This anti-abortion list will probably stun you with all the famous people who were almost aborted. 

Abortion has been a hot topic in our society - especially with Roe v Wade overturned by the Supreme Court. 

Roe v Wade (Roe vs Wade) being overturned now means that each state can decide for themselves whether or not abortion should be legal. This doesn't automatically mean all states will now be pro-life. 

Pro-life meaning, of course, protecting the innocent life of an unborn child.  The people almost aborted on this list, whether they admit it or not, are eternally grateful for that pro-life position because it gave them life. 

Most likely, you were not aware that some of the most influential people of the past 100 years were almost aborted, taken out of this world before they ever got the chance to live.   

And surprisingly, there are quite a few celebrities against a medical abortion, and we will share some of their pro life celebrity quotes.  Some have even called for an abortion ban.

That is certainly abortion news to some.  

They are actually NOT ALL pro choice celebrities.  There are actually quite a few celebrities that are pro life.

And if you are anything like me, there are AT LEAST one pro life celebrity or 2 on this list that will stun you.

Some would question, "Is abortion legal?"  In many cases, I would say yes.  But we also must ask, "Is abortion murder?"  To this question, I would also say yes.

Many who support the murder of an unborn person in this pro life-pro choice debate, often say things like, "Look at the family that person is being born into. They would be better off dead!" (even supporting late term abortion)

Or, "a baby born under THOSE sort of circumstances would only end up living out a horrible existence anyways..."

The stories below will END those statements once and for all. 

Some ask, "How many abortions per year are there?"

There are close to a million abortions per year in the U.S. (about 876,000 according to this article).

The pro-life march for life is gaining more steam each day and I hope this list of famous people almost aborted helps in the cause.

Groups like Students for Life, the National Right to Life, Live Actions and other pro life organizations are spreading the word about these celebrities who were almost aborted.

These stories below of famous people that were almost aborted, from some of the BIGGEST celebrities in the world, started out horrible, bleak, and hopeless...

...yet they ended in great success!

So as the Pro-life and Pro-choice debate continue to heat up, again, I hope this list can help.

The most important question to ask of course, in the pro-life debate is, "Is the unborn a person, deserving of all a person's rights?"

Steve Jobs' business and technology accomplishments have been virtually unmatched in the last 25 years, before his untimely death in 2011.

Steve Jobs' death came quick and unexpected.

Steve Jobs' net worth was around $10 billion when he died.

He even had a movie about him.  Steve Jobs' movie (pcitured below), with Ashton Kutcher came out in 2015 and did well.

Steve Jobs is, of course, the founder of Apple, with his own "Steve Jobs quotes" page on the Internet but did you know that Steve Jobs was almost aborted?

Jobs' mother was 23, and almost decided to abort Steve.  Instead of another aborted baby, she had him and gave him up for adoption to his parents, Paul and Clara Jobs, who raised him.

Imagine a world without Apple...or if there never was a Steve Jobs.

Regardless of your views on anti-abortion, I think we can agree it would be quite a different world.  

Around 1,700 babies are aborted (murdered) each day in the U.S. (over 600,000 per year).

Oprah Winfrey

 

 

Oprah Winfrey does not need any introduction.

Estimates of an Oprah Winfrey net worth come in at around $2.7 billion (at time of writing).  For Oprah net worth has been only a part of her successes.

Oprah formerly worked as a TV personality, actress and talk show host.

Yet the Oprah Winfrey age of talk shows is pretty far in the past.

She is now the billionaire owner of multiple business ventures than span worldwide.

But did you know that she was almost aborted?

That's right, maybe the most powerful media mogul in the world almost was never even born.

How many Oprahs are we aborting each year (I think you are starting to see the point)?

Although Oprah supports the abortion procedure, it is a good thing her teenage mother, Vernita Lee, did NOT.

Her teenage mother gave her the gift of life, even when others encouraged her to abort Oprah.

Tim Tebow

 

Tim Tebow is one of the most recognizable athletes in the world, as his Tim Tebow Twitter account will attest to.

The athletic accomplishments of Tebow (Heisman trophy winner, 2-time national championship winner, etc.) are bypassed only by his passion for helping and loving others, and spreading the Gospel of Jesus.

Many were excited to see Tim Tebow engaged and then see Tim Tebow married, as he began his life with Demi Leigh Nel Peters.

With Tim Tebow football was never just about touchdowns and yardage, but impact.  For Tim Tebow NFL dreams were always seen as a way to reach people.

To see him slam a Tim Tebow baseball out of the stadium is quite the sight. 

With Tim Tebow mets fans are hoping for him to excel beyond all expectations.

However, his mother, Pam Tebow, was encouraged to abort him by doctors, due to complications that might affect her and him.

She refused, however, and Tebow has since impacted the world in ways most have only dreamed of.

For Tim Tebow Florida has always been home, whether we go back to the Tim Tebow college days, or are referring to his home in Jacksonville now.

Pope John Paul II

 

Karol Jozev Wojtyla, better known as Pope John Paul II, has been seen by many as one of the best popes to ever have the seat.

Pope John Paul 2 (for those who don't speak roman numerals) served as pope from 1978 to 2005.  John Paul 2 was an inspiration to all those around him.

However, Pope John Paul's mother was advised to abort him after losing her daughter shortly after her birth.

Luckily, his mother declined though, and a new pope was born.

Next up on our list though is Nick Cannon.

 

Nick Cannon

 

Nick Cannon (not spelled Nick Canon) is an actor, comedian, rapper, director, producer, and TV host.

Although the Eminem-Nick Cannon feud often fills the tabloids and media blog sites, Nick has accomplished many other extremely noteworthy things, apart from his Nick Cannon and Eminem controversy. 

He is or has been the TV host for "The Nick Cannon Show, Wild 'N Out, America's Got Talent, Lip Sync Battle Shorties and The Masked Singer".

He was married to Mariah Carey for many years, and Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon welcomed 2 kids into this world together.  And the Nick Cannon family continues to grow as Brittany Bell, Nick's ex-girlfriend is having another baby.

However, this star almost never came to be.

His mother was just 17 when she got pregnant with Nick and decided to get an abortion.

However, at the last minute, she ended up changing her mind, and look what came from such horrible beginnings?

A star was born.

 

Layne Beachley

 

Layne Beachley is a 7-time world champion surfer.

Her mother, Maggie Gardener, was date-raped at the age of 17.

Of course, she still had the child, and Layne would go on to stun the surfing world, one championship at a time.

What I am hoping you see, through these examples, is that the mother and the child in that mother's womb are ultimately COMPLETELY different people, with very different potentials, possibilities, and destinies. 

Neither the mother, nor the father, have the right to abort (murder) that child.  The mothers in these examples were in really BAD situations, but their children ended up changing the world. 

How many of the 1,700 babies aborted each day in the U.S. could be doing the same?

 

Justin Bieber

 

Many are unaware that Justin Bieber, America's favorite child-pop-star turned-young man was almost never even born.

Early on, Selena Gomez and Justin Bieber caused quite a stir with their relationship, however the Justin Bieber-Selena Gomez relationship came to an end. 

Bieber is married to model Hailey Bieber, formerly Hailey Baldwin.  Justin and Hailey live in Canada, where Bieber is often found sending out messages to his fans through his Justin Bieber instagram page.

Justin Bieber and Hailey Baldwin are two of the most famous faces in the world, but one of them, Justin, was almost never born.

The Justin Bieber Baby song in 2009 introduced him to the world and he followed with many other hits including Love Yourself, As Long As You Love Me, the song from Justin Bieber Sorry, and numerous others. 

However, his mother, Pattie Mallette, was only 17 when she was pregnant with Justin, and she was encouraged to abort him.

In the end, of course, she ended up keeping him, and Bieber-nation will forever be grateful for that.

 

Jesse Jackson

 

 

Civil Rights activist Jesse Jackson, father of former Democratic Congressman, Jesse Jackson Jr was conceived out of statutory rape. 

Many years have passed since then, as we've seen Jackson march with Dr. Martin Luther King Jr., run for president, and still find time to attack certain social issues.

For Jesse Jackson age is just a number (now 78 years old).

The civil rights activist was born in South Carolina to Helen Burns, then a 16-year-old student.

She was pressured to abort him, but she decided to keep the baby.

And many are thankful for the decision of that young woman.

 

Janet Sheen

 

Janet Sheen, formerly Janet Templeton, is the actress and longtime wife of actor, Martin Sheen.

She is the mother of actor Emilio Estevez from the Mighty Ducks (Janet's real name was Janet Estevez until Martin Sheen changed his name).

She is also the mother of actor, Charlie Sheen (from...well, you know Charlie).

Janet Sheen was born as a product of rape, but did not let that stop her from being successful in her industry and life. 

 

Jack Nicholson

 

Nicholson is one of the most widely-recognized actors in Hollywood. 

For Jack Nicholson Joker, from Batman, was arguably his most popular role.

However, the Jack Nicholson Shining role that he played is also a fan-favorite.

From Jack Nicholson young movies the one he's played in only recently, his acting style will take you to the edge of your seat.

The overall 'Jack Nicholson net worth' is around $400 million.

Not bad for someone who was almost aborted.

His mother, June Frances Nicholson, almost aborted him.

Nicholson thanks his mother for, "giving him a chance to live".

I hope we would choose to do the same.

 

Celine Dion

The angelic voice behind one of the highest grossing movies ever, "The Titanic" was almost not born.

Imagine a world with no Celine Dion. 

For Celine Dion abortion could have easily cut her life short.

The last few years have kept Celine Dion busy.

For Celine Dion 2019 had proven her just as popular as she was 20 years ago.  Her Celine Dion Courage album received rave reviews everywhere, as her Celine Dion tour sells out in stadiums across the globe.

And though for Celine Dion 2020 was a bit more slower, as it was for all of us, her popularity remains strong.

However, did you know that Dion's mother, Therese Tanguay-Dion (mother of 14 children) was so overwhelmed with kids she already had, that she considered aborting her last one.

If that happened, the world would have missed out on one of the greatest singers ever.

Andrea Bocelli

 

And speaking of one of the greatest singers we have ever heard, Andrea Bocelli's life was almost cut short by an abortion.

One day, I hope to attend an Andrea Bocelli concert.  He is quite possibly the greatest singer of our time.

With Andrea Bocelli concerts 2020 has been an adjustment, but people are as excited as ever to see him.  

Even internationally speaking, for Bocelli concerts 2020 continues to be a time of demand for the dynamic vocalist.

Bocelli was married to Enrica Cenzatti for 10 years, but is now married to Veronica Berti.

Following a soccer accident, Bocelli (father of singer Matteo Bocelli) became completely blind at the age of 12.  However, he would go on to sing some of the most beautiful songs ever composed. 

But did you know that his mother, Edi Bocelli, was advised to have an abortion after she was told the child would be born with a disability?

Thank God she did not, and we got to hear the gift of Andrea Bocelli's incredible voice.

 

Brooke Shields

 

Brooke Shields is an actress, and model, who was almost never born. 

The role from Brooke Shields Pretty Baby in 1978 catapulted Brooke into stardom.

She is the proud mother of Rowan Francis Henchy and Grier Hammond Henchy.

But Brooke revealed that her grandfather actually paid her mother, Teri Shields (also an actress) to abort Brooke, still in the womb.

Her mother, Teri, however, couldn't do it, and that baby became an influential star.

 

Cher

 

Cher is a singer, actress, and TV personality, who has been in the spotlight for decades, coming onto the scene big as one-half of Sonny and Cher.

She has 2 children, including Chaz Bono, and Elijah Blue Allman. 

However, her mother, Georgia Holt, almost aborted her, after getting a lot of pressure from Cher's grandparents.

Cher's mother, Georgia, kept the baby and the rest is history.

 

Eartha Kitt

 

Eartha Kitt was a singer, actress, dancer, author, and songwriter, who reached the top 10 on the Billboard 100 charts with her Christmas classic, Santa Baby, in 1953.

The Santa Baby song is still widely searched for an heard around the world.

Her mother, Annie Mae Keith, was raped.

She still had the baby, and Eartha went on to do many amazing things in the world. 

 

Faith Daniels

 

Faith Daniels was a TV personality for many networks including NBC, CBS News, and Today, amongst others.

With Faith Daniels NBC had a talented news anchor for years to come.

However, Faith was conceived though as a result of rape, but was later adopted by a Catholic orphanage at 8 months old.

She did not let her past paint the picture of her future.

 

Ethel Waters

 

Ethel Waters was a famous actress and singer, who was born in 1896, as a product of rape.

Her mother, Louise Anderson, was believed to be 13 at the time of the attack.

Waters was raised in poverty, but overcame those difficulties to succeed as a famous actress and singer.

 

Kelly Wright

 

Kelly Wright was a former "Fox and Friends" weekend co-anchor.

With Kelly Wright Fox News had a co-anchor for the their Fox and Friends Weekend show from 2006 to 2008.

Yet his mother was raped when she was 16 years old.

Despite the circumstances, she always told him God had a purpose for his life.

 

Marlin Stutzman

 

Marlin Stutzman is an American politician who was a member of the U.S. House of Representatives from 2010 to 2017.

His mother got pregnant at the age of 17, and was considering having an abortion.

She ultimately did not, and the person in her belly went on to accomplish great things.

 

Sean Lennon

 

Sean Lennon (or Sean Ono Lennon (John Lennon's son)) is a singer, songwriter, musician, and the son of John Lennon of the Beatles, and Yoko Ono.

Lennon has been in a relationship with model, Charlotte Kemp Muhl since 2005.  Kemp Muhl was 17 then.

Ono was going to have an abortion of the unborn Sean, but John Lennon swayed her otherwise.

Sean has gone on to sell many records, and make a lasting impact in the music industry...because he was given a chance.

 

Valerie Gatto

 

Valerie Gatto won Miss Pennsylvania in 2014.

Gatto's mother was 19 years old when she was raped at knifepoint.

Gatto believes, despite the horrible circumstances under which her birth came about, that God has put her here for a purpose.

She will not let circumstances dictate her life, and presses on to encourage other to do the same.

 

The Game

 

Rapper The Game, originally, Jayceon Terrell Taylor, is a rapper and actor.

The latest album from The Game Born to Rap (also referenced as Born 2 Rap) came out in 2019, and has sold many copies.

He has sold millions of records overall, but was almost never born, as his mother, Lynette Baker, struggled with the decision of whether or not to abort him.

In the end, she did not abort her son, and he became quite the success.

 

Zahara Jolie-Pitt

 

Zahara Jolie-Pitt (also referenced online as Zahara Jolie Pitt and Zahara Pitt) is an actress, and the adopted daughter of famous actors Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie.

Her birth mother, Mentwabe Dawit, was raped.

Dawit was 24 at the time of this horrible attack.

Again, keep in mind, the mothers in these examples were in really BAD situations, but their children ended up changing the world.
